What is a disaster?
Most would agree that it is a potentially life threatening event.
Depending on the event, a person might
have days or just seconds. Rule of thumb, 15 minutes! You should be able to be in your shelter within 15 minutes!!
Do not think you can leave your house and drive. Within 15 minutes you will be in a gridlock of traffic, the worst situation
to be in.
The 8 ton transportable concrete and steel safe dome is capable of withstanding winds of 200 mph or more. Those
who stayed inside their dome during Hurricane Wilma say that they felt very secure while the 130 mph wind blew for hours.
My safe domes meet FEMA 320 for safe rooms.
A DISASTER SUPPLIES KIT SHOULD INCLUDE:

and food that won't spoil
one change of clothing and footwear per person
one blanket or sleeping bag per person
